Every photograph tells a story, but not every story fits into a collection of favorites.
The thirty images in this gallery are the photographs that remained after the first selections were made—images that may not have become part of Thirty Moments, yet continue to hold meaning for me. Some capture quieter scenes. Others document places, wildlife, and encounters that reveal a different side of a journey. Together they provide additional context, texture, and perspective.
Photography is often thought of as the pursuit of a single decisive moment, but my experience has been that travel and exploration are built from many moments, both dramatic and subtle. A sweeping landscape may be remembered most vividly, yet the details surrounding it—the changing weather, a fleeting expression, an unexpected encounter, or a quieter view—are often what give the experience its depth.
These photographs span many of the same places found in the first collection: remote landscapes, remarkable wildlife, and cultures encountered along the way. While they may not represent the defining images of those journeys, they remain photographs I am glad to have made and continue to enjoy revisiting.
If Thirty Moments is a collection of highlights, this gallery is the extended conversation—the images that enrich the story, fill in the spaces between the peaks, and remind me that every journey is larger than its most memorable moments.
I hope you enjoy exploring these photographs and the stories they continue to tell.
